I am IT professional that from a very young age had an interest in IT. I'm set on finding easier, faster ways and not the sticky plaster option of making IT effective. I believe that IT should be accessible and easy to use and shouldn't be something to be wary of. I hate jargon and do my best to make it understandable for all. I have an pragmatic, analytical and pedagogic approach to problems with communication skills to translate IT into solutions.
Working with young people has helped me develop further develop methods of interpersonal skills and has enabled me to effectively communicate IT problems and interpret problems. Working in the IT industry now for over ten years in three very different sectors has given me a great insight to how IT can have an effect on business.
I' am risk adverse as IT shouldn't be about making snap decisions on corporate level. Work should be carefully planned, calculated and re-enforced by planned steps, documented and tested before work is completed.
